Pokemon Go: All Timed Research Mega Battle Challenge and Rewards

From 11 September to 18 September, Pokemon has introduced a Timed Research Mega Battle Challenge. Pokemon Go introduced the following set of challenges to encourage the players to play the Mega Raid and evolve their Pokemon in Mega form. The rewards of the Mega Battle Challenge are huge. Niantic wants the trainers to win up to 275 Million battles with their Mega Evolved Pokemon. If players complete Niantic’s requirements, they will provide “Mega Houndoom” in the Mega Raid Battles.

In the Mega Battle Challenge, there are amazing rewards available that will help the players to play more Raid Battles. From the challenge, players can earn Mega Energy, and if they play Mega Raids, they can earn additional Mega Energy. So now, players have the opportunity to earn Mega Energy from two sources.

However, the Mega Battle Challenge is available for a limited time. During this time, players can get access to some exclusive challenges by spinning the PokeStops. Mega Battle Challenges are separated into four levels. At every level, the rewards are different. In the first level, players have to complete these following challenges:

Battle in a Raid – 3 Revives

Catch 7 Bug-type Pokemon – 5 Pokeballs

Power up Pokemon 7 Times – 1 Upgrade

If players complete the first level, they will earn 500 Stardust, 35 Beedrill Mega Energy, and 1,000 XP.

The second level of challenges are:

Battle in a Raid – 3 Revives

Battle in a Mega Raid – 3 Golden Razz Berries

Battle Another Trainer – 1 Sinnoh Stone

By completing this challenge, players will earn 1,000 Stardust, 40 Beedrill Mega Energy, and 2,000 XP.

The third level challenges are:

Battle in 3 Raids – Pinsir Encounter

Battle 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts – 5 Revives

Mega Evolve a Pokemon – 3 Silver Pinap Berries

Successfully finishing this task will provide 1,000 Stardust, 60 Beedrill Mega Energy, and 2,000 XP.

The fourth stage offers no challenge but provides plenty of rewards in total. You can claim it as they are:

10 Pokeballs

35 Max Revives

3 Hyper Potions

Roserade Encounter

2500 Stardust

5000 XP

The following challenges are not like any other challenges. Pokemon like Roserade and Pinsir are strong Pokemon for PVP battles. In Ultra Leagues and Master Leagues, both of these Pokemon help a lot in winning. Niantic is providing these strong Pokemon as rewards, so it’s a perfect opportunity for the players to grab.

Pokemon Go is providing some huge rewards in the challenges that are considered as rare. Because of this challenge, Niantic has also increased the spawn rate of Bug-type Pokemon. If players are lucky, they can find a shiny form of “Ledyba” Pokemon as well. Ledyba is a Bug-type Pokemon and its second form “Ledian” is a great Pokemon for Great Battles.

The players’ best suggestion is that they should focus on Raid Battles and complete 275 Million numbers. It will give the players a new Mega Pokemon with a new Mega Energy. Houndoom is a powerful Dark/Fire-type Pokemon, and its Mega form will set a new stage in Mega Battles. If players don’t complete this number, they will not get Mega Houndoom in Mega Raid. The challenge will be over by the end of 17 September, so trainers should complete the challenge and earn the available rewards.

Conclusion

Raid Battle Challenge is available in every region. Every level of players can play these challenges and complete the available tasks. The following tasks are simple, but rewards are massive. So this is a perfect opportunity to catch some powerful Pokemon along with some Mega Energy and additional rewards.
